A game of Peek-A-Boo!

The other night Kajsa was taking care of business in the bathroom and Brynn crawled in there and closed the door. I guess she wanted to keep Kajsa company. Apparently they were having so much fun that they both got the hiccups as Kajsa informed in the video. Then Brynn got bored and started playing Peek-A-Boo with Simon and I.

February 2009

• Kajsa was talking to Farmor on the phone and Farmor asked her, "What do you want for your birthday?" Kajsa responded, "I want to be a cowboy and ride horses!"
• Before we went to get Kajsa's haircut I asked her, "What do you want our haircut to look like?" She thought for a second and then said, "Hmmmm...a monkey... a dinosaur....A DINOSAUR!!!"

Happy Birthday Brynn Mia!!!

My sweet Brynn is 1 years old! I know is sounds so cliche, but I can't believe how fast that 1st year went! I think the 1 year for the second child goes by much faster! It's amazing how much you can love your first child so much and you think that you can't love another baby that much. Then comes the next child and you have that same undeniable love! I don't know what I would do without Brynn. She is my little firecracker!

She knows how to stand up to her big sister and doesn't let her get away with anything! She will bite her if necessary! YIKES! She has a much stronger personality than Kajsa. She seems to not really be afraid of anything and wants to do everything her sister is doing. She loves to blow kisses and wave hi and bye. Even though she may only have her 2 bottom teeth, she loves to eat pretty much anything. Her favorite people are men! She will go to her Poppy, Farfar, any uncle, and of course her Pappa over any woman! She knows a little sign language. Pretty much only eat and more. But that is pretty much all she does right? We are trying to teach her some other key signs so we don't have to hear her whine all the time. She can say pappa, mamma, baba (baby), and she tries to say Kajsa, but it sounds like a mamma/pappa mix. She has attempted to walk for about a month now, but the day after her birthday she was trying to walk everywhere! A week before her birthday she was sick with ear infections and a cold and when we took her to the doctor to get some meds she weighed 16 lbs. 9 oz. Looks like Brynn will be petite just like her sister. She can entertain herself quite well as long as big sis doesn't get in the way. She might be the tougher one of my two girls, but she loves babies! Whether they are real or just a baby doll, she loves them and she is so tender with them.

The night we brought Brynn home. It was love at first sight for Kajsa and before I knew it my little Kajsa was not so little anymore!

Farmor and Farfar brought over dinner for Brynn's birthday. Then we opened presents and ate cake.

Now she has a chair just like Kajsa with her own name on it.

Probably the only baby grand piano we will ever have in our house!
