Happy Birthday Kajsa Lyn!!!

Kajsa's 2nd birthday was on Tuesday! I can't believe she is 2! She has been such a joy in our home! As I was looking for pictures of her growing up to put on here, I couldn't believe how fast time flies. It seems like yesterday she was learning to walk and starting to eat real food, etc. She is learning so much everyday and she never ceases to amaze me with what she knows. She can pretty much count to ten by herself, even if she skips 5 & 8. She likes to sing the alphabet song with us and dance around. Her favorite color is pink and she loves her Swedish meatballs! We are so blessed to have her in our home! Happy Birthday Kajsa Lyn! We love you!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Our internet has been down and so that is why there haven't been any new posts. Aunt Lisa sent Kajsa and Brynn a package for St. Patrick's Day! Here are some pictures of our festivities!

Spring???

Now that we don't have any more snow left on the ground, I am starting to notice all of the leaves and weeds that got missed last fall before winter hit. It doesn't look so pretty. It is making me miss all the snow and realize how much better it looked when the snow covered it all. Then the other day as I walked out to the mailbox, I noticed something that made my day! Tulips poking through the dirt! There was even a little yellow crocus that had bloomed! Spring is just around the corner and I am so ready!

Two little Princesses

Time sure does fly and I realize I have been lacking at posting for quite some time. Every time I plan on blogging, I feel that a nap is much more needed and wanted. I take advantage of the afternoon when both Kajsa and Brynn are down for a nap for a few hours. Everything at the Östhed household are going well. We are still adjusting to having little Brynn around. Kajsa is not waking up at night as much when she hears Brynn. She gets jealous sometimes even when I feel like I am giving just as much attention to her as I am to Brynn. It feels like Kajsa has grown up so much since Brynn was born. She is talking so much now and using little phrases instead of just one word responses. The funniest thing Simon has gotten her to say is "Are you kidding me?". It is so funny how she says it. She is so quick to say thank you and when I tell her thank you, she responds with, "you're welcome". She also says "bless you" when we sneeze. It is so cute! She loves giving Brynn kisses and informs me when Brynn is awake and crying! As for Brynn, she is doing well. For a majority of the time she sleeps a 6 hour block for the first part of the night. Can't complain about that! She is quite a spitter-upper! Kajsa never spit up much when she was a baby, but Brynn has more than made up for that. She definitely has a great spirit about her and we love her so much! Simon and I are so lucky to have two beautiful girls that are healthy and happy!
