Look who's 3!!!

My cute Kajsa is officially 3 years old! The morning of her birthday she held up 3 fingers and said, "Now I am this many!" She was so proud. When you ask her how old she is, she holds up 3 fingers and then replies, "One, two, free!" She has grown up so much this past year. She became a big sister, started school, got potty trained, and is getting a little more of an attitude! We love her so much and are so glad that she is part of our family.

We had a little party for her. I debated on having one, but when I asked her who she would want to invite if she had a party and she only named 3 friends. I thought why not! We made it really simple and I hope they all had fun! She has anxiously been waiting to have her rainbow cake for her birthday that she picked out a month ago! It was fun to make and I am pretty sure she wanted the cake because it had so many M&M's on it!

I hope Scott and Megan don't mind. I really like this picture of them that they took on my camera. We are going to miss them tons when they leave in a month for New York for the summer or maybe even longer! :(

A quick trip to Idaho and Kajsa got to help plant peas in Poppy's garden. Brynn tried helping, but thought the seeds were to eat. She wasn't too thrilled with helping after that.

Even though she doesn't look happy, she was enjoying sitting on the 4-wheeler by herself.

• Kajsa overheard me utter under my breath, "stupid" while I was sitting at the computer. She told me to be nice to the computer. Ooops, I had better listen to my own advice and not use that word.
  

Where does the time go?

The last month has gone by so fast. I can't really say it has been busy, just nothing too exciting to write about. Last month I celebrated turning another year older and hopefully wiser too. Then this past week we spent the week at Simon's brother's house watching our niece and 3 nephews for a week. I was nervous about being a mom to 6 kids for a week, but the kids were all great and we had a lot of fun. Kajsa had fun getting to know her cousins better and misses them already. Luckily they live close so we can see them often.

I got to hang out with these three, plus Brynn, all day while the 2 older kids were at school. Never a dull moment!

On Saturday Sofia set up a spa and did pedicures for the 3 younger kids. Kajsa loves her pretty purple toes!

We took a little trip to the Aquarium to see the new exhibit.
