We are expecting baby #3!!!

Kajsa and Brynn are going to have another SISTER!!!

I had my ultrasound on Monday and everything looks great! Kajsa sure wanted a brother because of course she already has a sister. So we had to keep telling her that it could be another sister and that we needed to be happy either way! After the ultrasound she kept saying, "But I wanted a boy!" She is over it now and keeps telling me that the baby can wear Brynn's clothes! So around the middle of February we will have another girl gracing our presence! Poor Simon! Four girls to have to deal with! He is really looking forward to the teenage years! No, he really is excited and of course he will still be the best pappa around!

Where's Kajsa???

We got to enjoy a Sunday nap, that is, Simon, Brynn, and I. Kajsa said she wanted to color and so she got to enjoy some quiet time! Well....

You might think that she isn't feeling too well, by the color and expression on her face.

This is how the story goes...

We all woke up and started looking for Kajsa. She was in the office sitting in a chair facing the wall.

Oh there she is!

This is how we found her! Something is not right here! I guess she got tired of waiting for us to wake up from our naps!

Wow! Those are some colorful hands! Looks like coloring during quiet time was FUN!!!

Not liking all the pictures being taken! Probably wondering how mad mamma and pappa are going to be! (The rules with using the markers are that she can only use them when Brynn is not around and that we don't draw on ourselves! haha!)

Who can be mad when you see evidence that she tried to wash it off herself?!?

They are washable markers, but that sure doesn't mean in one wash especially when hands have been drawn on over and over a million times! We told her we weren't mad at her and were able to get all of it off the face and some off the hands. She won't be able to use her markers for a week and she just told us, "That isn't fair!" Oh the joys of a 3 1/2 year old!

Here are the results of scrubbing for 10 minutes trying to get it all off! Not too bad eh?!?

Kajsa and I were inside and came out to this! I thought it was so funny! Simon would just pull her along! Nice ride!

We got tickets to the USA vs. El Salvador World Cup Qualifier game! USA won 2-1! I can't remember going to a sporting event where most everyone is chanting U-S-A!!! It was awesome!

Brynn just cracks me up! She loves to copy her sister! But pushing the chair up to the fridge to play with the magnets was totally her idea! The hat is a great accessory to her outfit!

First Day of Preschool

First day of preschool

Kajsa started preschool a couple weeks ago. I didn't get to take her to her first day because I found out the night before that I had to report for jury duty! BLAH!!! (I ended up being chosen to serve on the jury, but luckily the case didn't take too long!) So Simon took the morning off to take her. She was excited to start school again. A new school, teacher, and friends! She is in the peer model program again and is in a class with kids with different disabilites. When I asked her about her first day she told me about the girl in the pink wheelchair, painting, and snack time! She loves going and it almost breaks my heart when I drop her off and she doesn't even hesitate to leave me! But I am very glad that she loves to go and the school is only 2 minutes away from home! I told Simon that he had to make sure and take a picture of her on her first day!
