Fair week and 10 year reunion

The other big thing going on this summer was the planning of my big 10 year high school reunion. Luckily I wasn't the only one that had to plan this thing. I had two other friends that were the best to work with! After much stress and wondering if people were really going to show up, it turned out great! One night we had an adult dinner at the boat docks along the Snake River with a little program and socializing! Then on Saturday our class sponsored a 5K Fun Run to benefit an awesome teacher at the high school who is fighting cancer. There was a great turnout! It was awesome to see the former students, friends, and families come out to support this wonderful man. Then we had a family picnic at the park and it was so much fun to see friends and their cute families! All the stress and planning paid off and it was great to see so many friends!

This is about half of our graduating class! We really were probably the best class ever!

The girls and I headed up to Idaho a few days before the reunion so we could spend some time with all of my family who was together for the first time in about 2 years! Some of us slept out in tents or on the trampoline! It was fun! Also, it was the week of the fair and rodeo! We love going to support my dad who serves on the fairboard and basically lives there the whole week! We got to see him in the parade riding his horse and ride in during the grand entry of the rodeos! Before one of the rodeos Kajsa got to ride with Poppy on his horse while he was getting warmed up! She loved it! It was a great to be with family and I hope they enjoyed being around me, even though I was probably ornery too much of the time! (due to stress of reunion and lack of sleep!)

Handsome cowboy Poppy!

One pouty little cowgirl!

Some things never change! My two goofy older brothers!

Wow Sara! Way to pull off the reunion...and no wonder people came. You planned a fun one with a 5 K and everything! We'll have to do a playdate when I get back from Omaha...I'd love to see you!`
